Based on the beautiful Menai Straits on Anglesey your accommodation will be in one of our nine bedrooms in our Gogarth building, all of our bedrooms are simplistic en-suite rooms with a mixture of single beds and bunk beds.
The building comes with a communal living area with TV, fridge, drink making facilities, microwave and outside decking with tables and chairs to relax after a fun-filled day!

Anglesey is a popular staycation spot with so much to offer. With Conway Centres being located in Anglesey ‘The Adventure Capital of Europe’ and Snowdonia, we know there is so much to do in so little time! We understand that with your holiday you want the chance to travel and explore the area.
What is the standard of accommodation?
Our rooms are clean and functional, most rooms are made up of single and bunk beds with en-suite bathroom with shower. The Gogarth accommodation block also has a communal lounge and small kitchen area as well as outside decking area.
Is Bedding Provided?
Yes, all bedding and towels are provided.
What kind of meals are provided?
We provide a simple but balanced and nutritious menu ensuring both Adults and Children are catered for and give you the energy required for our activities. We provide Breakfast, Lunch, and evening meal with dishes you will be familiar with and a focus on healthy eating. We aim to provide your 5 portions of fruit and veg a day and minimise added sugar, salt, and fat where possible.
Do you cater for all dietary requirements and special diets?
Yes, we accommodate most diets and requirements which always includes a vegetarian option. You will receive our menu’s upon arrival for your stay. Please ensure you inform us of any dietary requirement when you book your visit.
Where do we eat?
All meals will be provided in our food hall, which is a canteen style service and layout. For activities off site you will be provided with a packed lunch.
Do you serve alcohol?
No unfortunately not however you are welcome to enjoy your own alcoholic drinks in your room or lounge area. We can also recommend local pubs and restaurants.
Is there a dress code for mealtimes?
No there is no dress code however you may want to have a change of clothing for evening meals after your activities.
Do we select our own activities?
We will plan your activities ahead of your arrival and ensure your family have a good balance of different activities, we are happy for you to make activity requests however are unable to guarantee these activities will be the ones that are provided.
How many activities will we have?
All of our activities are half day sessions; therefore, you will be allocated a morning or afternoon session each day. Outside of these activity sessions your free time can be used to explore the local area.

How many people will be in our activity group?
We aim for group sizes to be between 10-12 people so will be dependant on your group size however you may be in groups with other families, this is a great opportunity to meet new people!
Under 5’s:
Children aged 5 and under are welcome to stay with us free of charge however they may not be able to participate in all activities which may mean an adult in the group sitting out some activities. Please let us know at time of booking if any under 5’s will be part of your group and we will factor this into your activities. Unfortunately we do not provide a childcare service if children are unable or do not want to take part in activities (whether they are under or over 5 years of age), children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
Will there be other Groups at the centre?
During our Adventure holiday dates as well as other families on these holidays we may have other groups on site such as school groups, Youth groups such as Scouts or Guides or Faith groups. All these groups will be in separate accommodation areas and will be supervised by group leaders and our team, they will also have their own activity programme and meals will be eaten in separate areas. We will notify you of any very large groups on site that have booked at time of your booking. We do not allow stag and hen groups or large single sex groups.
Do we need any specialist equipment?
No, we provide all specialist activity and safety equipment. You are welcome to bring your own waterproof clothing and footwear in case of wet weather however we do have a supply if you do not. We will also provide wetsuits for water based activity.
What sort of clothing should we bring?
For your activities we recommend wearing warm but comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty.
What time can we check in/out?
Check in is between 4-6pm, check out of rooms is 10am on day of departure.
Should your holiday be unable to go ahead due to the following reasons due to Covid-19 we will offer you the option of re-scheduling your holiday or a full refund.
- Any UK or Welsh Government local or national lockdown that advises against travel to our centre location;
- If you or any of your group have tested positive for Covid-19 and are isolating or self-isolating after being contacted by Track & trace (You will need to provide evidence in these circumstances of testing positive or having to self isolate)
- If we have to close our site due to cases of Covid-19 on our site or our staff having to self-isolate.
- If Government advice is for any accommodation or activity providers to close for any reason.
