Our centre and its forest surroundings naturally lends itself for activities such as den building, survival skills, pond dipping, orienteering, environmental games, forest art and walks during which pupils can study animal habitats and the different flora and fauna of the forest.

At Delamere, children can discover and learn all about the wider environment that they share with the animals, plants, rivers, and mosses. Whether you want this centre to support with the science or geography curriculum, we can tailor the activities to support your school’s goals, your children’s abilities, and your focus. 

Situated within Forestry England protected land, Delamere is a place to escape the crowds and find peace in the heart of the forest. Our accommodation is fully immersed in the forest. Champions Lodge at Delamere has been purposefully built within its own private area in the grounds and is a fully accessible facility, specially equipped for children with special needs (aged between 0-21 years). The centre, fully immersed in its natural surroundings, is available for children to visit with their schools or families.
