Our cosy centre located in Delamere Forest is the perfect place for children to embrace the Christmas season.
Children will explore the forest in all its winter wonder, whilst learning about nature and gathering all their materials from the vast woodlands to create homemade Christmas decorations. Spend the evening enjoy a hot chocolate under the stars by a bonfire.
Desired Outcomes
- Children get to know each other, and staff, with sole occupancy of our cosy centre in the forest.
- Children will make a selection of Christmas decorations to take home, giving them an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their fine motor skills.

Arrive. Settle into centre. Team building games and orienteering to explore the centre grounds and get to know the centre staff. |
A walk through the wintery forest, collecting materials to use to make Christmas decorations, and taking some hot chocolate to drink while we’re out. Maybe bring costumes and photograph some outdoor nativity scenes. |
