Programme: Snowdonia Explorer
Anglesey
The great outdoors offers a wonderful environment to slow down the pace of life and explore all the amazing adventures within. Through this course we aim to inspire and educate young people by embarking on a journey within the beautiful and fascinating natural world in Snowdonia and Anglesey, examining areas of the surrounding beaches, woodlands, hillsides and mountains that most visitors will never find!
Our aim is to explore the contrasting areas of North Wales using interesting and beautiful footpaths to highlight evidence of river and coast erosional change, social history of Welsh communities and interact with nature and local wildlife.
- Students will develop skills of self-reliance and independence by carrying their own food, water and waterproof alongside the shared responsibilities of map reading and leading the group.
- Discover the natural history, culture and geography of North Wales’ areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty
