Art A Level

Anglesey

Event: Art A Level

Anglesey

Based on the quaint Menai Straits, our art A Level course aims to raise attainment and allow students the opportunity to work with nationally recognised subject specialists, practicing artists and subject leaders.

Students will be able to choose from a number of disciplines and processes to develop their practical work and subject knowledge in Drawing, Painting, Textile and Three-Dimensional work. Under guidance and direction of practising artists / leading art tutors, students will use both contemporary and traditional techniques to make artefacts and pieces of work.

Desired Outcomes
  • An opportunity to work alongside nationally recognised subject specialists, practising artists, designers and subject leaders.
  • A great way to add a significant body of work to the students’ coursework folders, regardless of exam board.
  • The chance to meet like-mind students and teachers from other schools to mix with other pupils and teachers from other schools.
