Dinghy sail boats allow independent or paired sailing, allowing pupils to be in control of their own sail craft after a land-based introductory session. Out on the water there is powerboat safety cover, which means the teaching staff are always on hand to offer encouragement and advice. Dependent on the tide and weather, often the day involves a journey allowing exploration of the local environment.
